#1.) vs Asuka – NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III
Just when you thought that Ember Moon and Asuka wouldn’t be able to top their prior match, they did and in incredible fashion. Ember Moon once again found herself on Asuka’s tail, determined to capture the NXT Women’s Championship. They had what many considered the second best match in WWE Women’s history (only behind Sasha Banks and Bayley in Takeover: Brooklyn I) and this time around, Asuka needed no dirty tactics to win.
She did win, but only by the skin of her teeth. What no one knew at the time was that this would turn out to be Asuka’s NXT swansong, as she vacated the title less than a month later.
