Bobby Lashley’s father was a drill sergeant in the United States military. Even Lashley’s sister for a long time was a part of the United States Air Force. After he finished college, Lashley decided to join the military as well. During his time there, he competed in amateur freestyle wrestling, participating in top army tournaments and even winning medals.
His time in the army undoubtedly proved as a career turning point as he used his wrestling experience to reach for bigger goals.
