It was a magical night in Manchester as AJ Styles took on Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship. At the time, it was by and far the best match of Mahal’s career and who could possibly be surprised that AJ Styles was his most formidable opponent.
The crowd in the UK were rabid and well-behind AJ Styles. The incredible finish saw Styles hit the Phenomenal Forearm, pinning Mahal clean to become a 2-time WWE Champion. It would also mark the first time in WWE history that the WWE title changed hands outside North America!
