Carmella looked to become the first-ever Ms. Money In The Bank, but she had a flurry of top SmackDown competitors to go through. In the first-ever Women’s Money In The Bank ladder match, Carmella did everything she could to grab the briefcase. The match itself was fantastic and it was James Ellsworth of all people who wound up grabbing the briefcase and dropping it to Carmella.
She was officially the first-ever Ms. Money In The Bank. It was an important piece of history and though she was stripped of the briefcase two days later, she would win it back the following week, this time on her own.
