It was Nakamura’s debut in WWE that stands as his best match with the company till date. It was Sami Zayn’s final match for NXT and he had a big point to prove. He didn’t want to be the gatekeeper and if he was going to leave NXT, it was going to be with a bang. Everything about the match reeked of excellence. From the reaction that Nakamura got before his entrance, to the entire match, the two gave everything they had, leaving the crowd in shock and awe.
The audience chanted “Fight forever” at the two and they produced what can only be described as pro-wrestling magic. It was an unforgettable night. A perfect introduction for Nakamura and a touching farewell for Sami Zayn – the heart and soul of NXT.
