Sheamus had a breakout year in 2009 when he challenged John Cena for the WWE Championship less than six months after his main roster debut. In a tables match, The Celtic Warrior would shockingly send Cena through the table, becoming WWE Champion in the process.
It was a rare feat for a superstar to win the WWE title in such a short time, but Sheamus joined an elite club. It would be the first of four world championships that he would accumulate throughout his career.
