Jakara Jackson Reveals Which WWE Stars Left Her Star Struck

Mara Sadè (fka Jakara Jackson) was left star struck by some WWE stars.

Like many professional wrestlers, Mara Sadè began her journey as a fan before eventually stepping into the ring herself. During a recent interview with WrestleZone’s Ella Jay, Sadè revealed that that fandom remains in her heart to this day, especially when meeting some of her in-ring heroes.

“There’s definitely those stars that you’re just like [starstruck by], and of course The Rock was one.” Sadè said. “Jacqueline, a friend of mine, WrestleMania weekend, went and got her to make a shout out video to me. I freaked out. I freaked out and I really wish I could have met her in person. That is still yet to happen. And yes, that’ll be a moment for me that I will geek out.

“But even meeting Bianca [Belair], she’s such an amazing woman and she’s so kind. I just remember after our first match is whenever emotions started to flood in because I just know myself. I’m very honed in and focused leading up to whatever it is I’m going into. Then after is when I have a chance to feel more and really be present in the moment and be like I’m literally having my dream match with Bianca Belair. I’d say those are the two people that I’ve most geeked out over.”

Sadè and Bianca Belair shared the squared circle on a handful of occasions in WWE, all of which involved the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. The most recent took place on the January 28 episode of WWE NXT.

Meanwhile, Jacqueline took her place into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2016. Prior to that, a young Mara Sadè found herself mesmerized by an action figure of the former WWE Women’s Champion.
