The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that last week’s RAW Triple Threat Match between the teams of Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt, The B-Team, & The Revival was,
“Done as the blow-off of the Hardy & Wyatt tag team.”
Hardy tweeted the following immediately after the match:
Thank you for everything, my COMPEER.. I shall miss you, @WWEBrayWyatt. pic.twitter.com/RYk8E6HCRe

According to the Observer, Hardy will be taking the time off from in-ring action due to injuries the RAW Superstar tweeted about a couple weeks ago:
This maneuver was called EVENT OMEGA..
And is most likely the reason that I’ve recently learned that my lower back & pelvis have started fusing together. https://t.co/FzYebvIIc0

The Observer also added:
“There is talk of him shadowing producers which is basically learning the ropes there with the possibility of that being his future.”
In terms of Matt Hardy’s in-ring future, the Observer added:
“Hardy will be undergoing treatment for his different injuries and after he goes through that process, a decision will be made as far as whether he can return and in what type of a schedule or capacity.”
