On Kairi Sane looking to put a stop to Shayna Baszler’s path of destruction:
Kairi Sane knows full well just how dangerous Shayna Baszler is. The Queen of Spades, after all, made a statement during her first NXT appearance in December at the expense of The Pirate Princess. As Sane was engaged in a stare-down with NXT Women’s Champion Ember Moon, Baszler came from behind Sane to lock her into an unforgiving submission hold.
It wasn’t until two weeks ago, when The Submission Magician was trying to capture the NXT Women’s Title from The War Goddess, did we finally see Sane again. This time, however, she brought the fight to Baszler, sending her scrambling after an explosive flying elbow strike and Interceptor.
Sane now has a chance for retribution in the form of a match against Baszler. Will Sane be able to keep her foe down when they square off in a highly anticipated rematch of the Mae Young Classic Final? Or, will Baszler lock the Mae Young Classic Winner in one of her unforgiving submission moves and force her to tap out?
