Backstage News On Who is Planned to Win the Women’s No. 1 Contender’s Match at Battleground
At Battleground, there will be a five-way match to determine the number one contender for Naomi’s SmackDown Live Women’s Championship. The participants include Tamina, Lana, Becky Lynch, Charlotte, and Natalya.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the favorite to win the match is Charlotte. It was also mentioned that Charlotte’s “heel edge” she has been showing as of late may play a part in her upcoming feud with Naomi.
Top NXT Team to Debut at Battleground?
For a number of weeks, Breezango has been involved in an angle where someone or somebody have been ransacking their rooms, destroying photos and valuables. The reveal angle is scheduled to culminate at Battleground, with the person or persons finally showing who he or they are.
According to the Newsletter, the team that could be revealed is SAnitY. However, this would be a bit ill-timed, because they are scheduled to compete for the NXT Tag Team Championships against the Authors of Pain at TakeOver: Brooklyn III.
Another option that was speculated was a potential reunion between Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, commencing a feud between the two teams.
