As we have been noting throughout the week, several injured WWE stars have received clearance to return to the ring, and yet another name has been added to that list.
As seen on Raw and Smackdown this week, injured stars Emma and Zack Ryder made their TV returns, and we reported yesterday that both Braun Strowman and The Revival’s Dash Wilder have been cleared to return.
Pro Wrestling Sheet is now reporting that Smackdown Live star Rusev has been cleared to return to the ring, as he met with doctors yesterday and was given clearance.
Rusev has been out of action since undergoing shoulder surgery back in March, and to hype his return to WWE TV he has been petitioning Smackdown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon for a WWE Title match at WWE Money in the Bank.
As of this writing, it remains unknown when The Bulgarian Brute will return to WWE TV, but he is indeed medically cleared to step back into the ring.
