According to The UK’s Daily Mail, Bray Wyatt’s wife, Samantha Rotunda, has filed for divorce from the former WWE Champion after alleging he had an affair with ring announcer JoJo Offerman.
The report adds that Wyatt, real name Windham Rotunda, has filed a counter-petition for divorce in Hernando County, and has requested an injunction to force his wife to keep quiet about the split. Wyatt has requested the injunction after accusing his wife of making defamatory comments about him to several people in their community in order to damage his reputation.
The following is a quote from Jim Knox, Bray Wyatt’s attorney:
‘I do represent Mr. Rotunda in his dissolution of marriage case in Hernando County, Florida.
‘As you know, these cases involve the private lives of the participants and sometimes unpleasant disputes. I would ask that you respect the privacy of both litigants in this matter and I have no other comments to make.’
It should be noted that the divorce papers do not specifically mention JoJo Offerman as the woman with which Wyatt was allegedly having an affair, however 31-year-old Samantha’s Miami lawyer, Ray Rafool, told Daily Mail he obtained phone records showing that Wyatt is maintaining ‘continuous contact’ with Jojo.
In addition to the above, Wyatt is also claiming his wife made defamatory comments about him on social media, and Samantha is accusing Wyatt of ‘adultery and misdeeds’, and asks the judge to award her their marital home as well as child support and alimony. She also wants custody of the girls for a majority of the time.
