Daniel Bryan announced next week’s episode of WWE Smackdown Live will feature AJ Styles defending the WWE Championship in a triple threat match against Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin.
The conclusion of tonight’s show saw Ziggler and Corbin, who were competing in a match with Ziggler’s title shot on the line, get counted out after fighting at ringside. The fight saw Corbin whip Ziggler into Styles at ringside, then Styles attacked both of them with a chair after the bell. Daniel Bryan came to the ramp and concluded that they would all meet on next week’s show to settle the score, and the title would be defended in a triple threat match.
Next’s week’s show from Chicago is shaping up to be a big one as it will feature the triple threat match, a four way elimination Tag Team Championship match, John Cena’s return and more.
