‘Clash’ is Personal For Kevin Owens
Tonight’s WWE Clash of Champions main event is personal for Universal Champion Kevin Owens. He tweeted out the following prior to the show:

Just as a bit of useless trivia, this was actually the first WWF PPV of the Monday Night Wars, as WCW Nitro had launched earlier that month. The main event was a tag team match pitting WWF Champion Diesel and Intercontinental Champion Shawn Micahels against WWF Tag Team Champions Yokozuna and the British Bulldog, where all of the titles were on the line for whoever got the pin. Bret Hart also wrestled one of the better matches of that year against Carl Oullet.
New Bullet Club Member in New Japan
For those that didn’t catch last night’s NJPW Destruction in Kobe event live on New Japan World, Captain New Japan turned on Hunter Club partner Yoshitatsu and aligned himself with the Bullet Club. Captain has been playing somewhat of a loser for quite some time, as his character consistency blows matches for him and his partners.

WWE United States Champion Rusev, who is quickly becoming one of the most entertaining wrestlers to follow on Twitter, is back at it again with this funny WWE Clash of Champions face-swap of Sheamus and Cesaro. Like a pro, he simultaneously manages to throw some shade at this PPV opponent and challenger Roman Reigns in the process.
