Moments ago on RAW, Mick Foley announced Kevin Owens will defend his newly won WWE Universal Championship against Seth Rollins at WWE Clash of Champions.
Owens came to the ring for his championship celebration, and talked about how he got his moment and that RAW was ‘the Kevin Owens show’ now. Seth Rollins came out and blames Stephanie for what happened, but Owens says this isn’t about him. Rollins disputed the title match finish was last week, and talked about how Triple H got involved and Owens has had his hand held since he got here. Rollins tells Owens to stay out of it, but Owens calls him the ‘Architect of Failure’ and Rollins decks him. Rollins tosses him out of the ring and Stephanie calls to suspend Rollins, but Foley says no. Foley says he was brought here to make matches, and they don’t suspend top talent for something like this, and they should fight. Foley then books the title match, and Stephanie doesn’t look too thrilled about being overshadowed.
WWE Clash of Champions is live in Indianapolis, Indiana on Sunday, September 25th, and will also feature The New Day vs Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson for the WWE Tag Titles and Sasha Banks vs Charlotte for the WWE Womens Title:
