Dudley Boyz
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently confirmed the reports of the Dudley Boyz having a verbal agreement for a new WWE deal in place, but it is unknown why they ultimately didn’t re-sign.
The report noted the agreement went back a few weeks ago, and lined up with the expiration dates of the team’s existing one-year deals. There were previous plans to split the team up, even as recent as Summerslam the night before the Dudleys departed the company.
It was previously reported that the Dudleys had in fact signed new deals with WWE last month, but that proved to be false and the team agreed to part ways with WWE.
