As noted, WWE star Seth Rollins was a guest on ESPN’s First Take yesterday, and you can watch the entire appearance below. The following are some highlights.
On the subject of Conor McGregor’s comments directed at WWE, Rollins says he has been trying to remain quiet about it because he doesn’t want to “feed into it.” Rollins says he knows the comments are just Conor being Conor and being self-promoting, but Rollins did take a shot at how McGregor dresses.
On Brock Lesnar failing UFC drug tests and not being punished by WWE, Rollins says he doesn’t know how the punishments differ in UFC from WWE as it pertains to what Lesnar failed his tests for. He said that is “TBD” for the moment and he is focusing on himself. Rollins did defend the Wellness Policy and added WWE wants to take care of everyone in the company.
When Stephen A. Smith brought up Goldberg, and the former WWE and WCW Champion possibly returning to WWE, Rollins had the following to say:
“I am a young buck, I am a young stallion. No offense to Goldberg but his day has come and gone. Goldberg’s past his prime and he can’t hang with me. Bottom line. That’s what I am saying.”
