Will Ospreay Off Weekend Shows w/ Injury
Will Ospreay will be missing this weekend’s NORTH Wrestling show out of Newcastle, as he “took a nasty knock” to one of his shoulders during a recent event. Ospreay noted that he’s hoping the injury isn’t serious, and he’s booking appointments with his doctors and physiotherapist to get a better evaluation.
Hopefully Ospreay isn’t too banged up, as he’s got some big events coming up in the near future. He faces online rival Vader for Revolution Pro on 8/12, the NJPW Super J Cup finals on 8/21, and is scheduled for PWG Battle of Los Angeles in early September.
WWE Stars Working NXT Live Events
As noted earlier, there will be several top Smackdown and Raw stars touring with opposite brands until the WWE firms up their exclusive live touring schedule, likely after SummerSlam season wraps up. Several top stars who were recently called up from NXT during the WWE Draft will also be working this coming week’s southern NXT Live tour in Houston, Birmingham and New Orleans. That list includes but is not limited to, Finn Balor, Mojo Rawley and Carmella.
