Note on Del Rio and Paige’s Draft Outcomes
Some of you might have caught this, but if not, Booker T did say during the Smackdown Live pre-show that talents might “be traded” before the night is over, seeming to indicate that trades can take place between Raw and Smackdown. This simply could have been a case of Booker T being uninformed, or trades might be a concept introduced following last night’s draft.
Can WWE Draft Picks Be Traded?
In related news, Booker T mentioned Paige not being happy about her draft pick last night, and attributed her frustration to her late round pick and not making the actual Smackdown portion of the Draft. It should be noted that Paige and her real life boyfriend Alberto Del Rio were drafted to different brands, and during Del Rio’s post-Draft backstage promo video, he didn’t seem to be very happy with his draft result either.
Sasha Banks Responds to Cesaro’s Post-Draft Shoot Promo
As noted, Cesaro cut a shoot style promo venting his frustration with how late he went in the WWE Draft last night, and also expressed his frustration with the amount of emphasis WWE is putting on the authority figures on Raw and Smackdown as opposed to the talents. Sasha Banks posted the following reaction to Cesaro’s comments.
