Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows film, featuring Sheamus as Rocksteady, came back with just over $35 million in box office returns and opened at number one this weekend.
After opening Friday with $12.5 million, the film reached its early estimated domestic amount for a total of $35,250,000, and also earned $34 million in foreign markets but still performed a bit lower than expected. By comparison, this opening was nearly half of what the 2014 TMNT film opened with, which saw a $65 million opening.
