Final Smackdown on Syfy Sees Major Audience Drop

smackdownAccording to ShowBuzzDaily.com, the New Year’s Eve edition of WWE Smackdown, which is the final Smackdown on Syfy, averaged 1.658 million viewers.

This week’s number is down significantly from last Tuesday’s Super Smackdown, which averaged 2.264 million viewers.

Update on Booker T Joining the Raw Pre-Show and the new SD! Announce Team

As noted, Booker T joined the Raw pre-show announce team tonight, and according to PWInsider.com the WWE Hall of Famer will be joining the show as the new host on a weekly basis. This likely means the new Smackdown announce team will consist of Mauro Ranallo, Byron Saxton and Jerry Lawler.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
