Austin/Lesnar Podcast
Blake Mitchamore has a new blog up on CSRWrestling.com talking about the Austin/Lesnar podcast on WWE RAW. Here’s a sample:
RAW is going to be live in Dallas this coming Monday thirty minutes from my hometown. I didn’t even consider buying tickets to be there live and in person. I didn’t consider it because I wanted to be home in front of my TV for the Stone Cold Podcast on the WWE Network featuring Brock Lesnar.
That made me realize something. The WWE is missing out on a major opportunity.
We hear rumblings of a major angle between Austin and Lesnar being shot next Monday. If that’s true the Podcast should not be shot in a backstage studio. It should be held live in front of the RAW Audience.
If this podcast is the catalyst for a major match at WrestleMania 32 I can’t think of a better way to kick it off. If Austin and Lesnar brawl in a backstage studio it’s a great moment. If Austin and Lesnar brawl live on the WWE network in front of a sold out American Airlines Center it’s EPIC! Imagine the drama if the WWE Network signs off to Brock Lesnar standing over a beaten Stone Cold Steve Austin in his home state of Texas. I can’t think of a better way to kick of a potential Austin vs. Lesnar match if it indeed was going to happen.
