Mark Henry Reacts to CM Punk’s Susan G. Komen Remarks
WWE star Mark Henry recently spoke with Philly Voice to promote this past Tuesday night’s Smackdown tapings, and the subject of WWE’s work with Susan G. Komen came up. Henry was asked about CM Punk’s negative comments about the Komen foundation, and the following was Henry’s response:
“I believe in freedom of speech. I believe people have the right to say whatever they want to say. As long as they’re ready to own what they say. Because there’s a price to pay when you say something that’s against the grain that is not correct.”

Forbes Writer Objects to WWE/NXT Divas Crying After Matches
Alfred Konuwa has published a new editorial over at Forbes.com, and offers the following critique of WWE and NXT Divas crying after matches:
“The absence of tears following a strong women’s match will suggest that they expected nothing less than to tear the house down. It also allows fans to stay involved in the storyline, which thrives the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. The NXT women’s division needs to get back to basics, and use the aforementioned Paige–Emma match as an example. At the end, Paige—the victor—was elated. Emma, who lost, was clearly disappointed even as Paige gave her a sportsmanlike hug. They had a great match without over-celebrating their accomplishment immediately after… Just like the guys do.”
