Eva Marie
Blake Mitchamore has a new blog on CSRWrestling.com talking about Eva Marie. Here’s a sample:
Some people think Eva Marie absolutely sucks. Some people absolutely love Eva Marie. You can argue that she’ll never be a good wrestler all day long. You can’t argue that she has star potential. Eva has that intangible “It” factor that people crave in performers. For some reason the WWE can’t seem to make up their mind on how to use her. This inability to make a decision may wind up hurting Eva in the long run.
When Eva debuted on Total Divas a couple of years ago they rushed her to the ring long before she was ready. She had a fantastic look but was absolutely horrible in the ring. That caused a lot of the fan base to turn on her and lose interest in her as a performer. Instead of not using her on Raw and letting her properly train they kept sticking her out there because of Total Divas.
This past summer we heard rumblings that WWE wanted Eva to become the number 1 heel diva in the company. She debuted in NXT and showed noticeable improvement in her in-ring performance. Was she good? Or even on par with the NXT Divas? No she wasn’t but she was much better. Now after only a couple of months in NXT the WWE is reportedly changing their mind on Eva Marie once again. They are reportedly looking for non-wrestling roles for Eva Marie to fill.
