WWE Smackdown Results

Instead of the normal segment, Smackdown begins with a match! Ryback comes out to open the show.
Ryback vs. Big Show
The pace begins hard and heavy with Ryback as the surprising aggressor. Show stops him in his tracks with a clothesline and body slam. He begins to work the crowd as they chant, ‘Please Retire’. Final Cut by Big Show (his finisher around 2002 or so) for a two-count. Huge collision by the two with Ryback coming out on top. Ryback hits a Spinebuster on Show and sets up for his Meat Hook Clothesline. Show spears him instead for a close two-count. Show dropkicks Ryback to the outside, but Ryback pushes him into the post. He fails a body slam on The Giant, but hits a nasty clothesline through the barricade on the outside. This leads to a Double Count Out finish.
Winner – No Contest due to Double Count Out.
A Divas Triple Threat Match is announced among Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, and Brie Bella for later in the show along with a flashback from RAW and Brock Lesnar’s “Homecoming”.
Backstage, The New Day dunks on some executive jobber with a plastic hoop.
