Dwayne ‘The Rock‘ Johnson recently took part in a Facebook Live Stream and talked about some of his most memorable wrestling moments and more.
In regards to his favorite match, he picked a match against Chris Jericho at a WWE live event in Honolulu, Hawaii. Rock said it was just a very special night and they “sold out the Blaisdell [Center, host of the event] faster than Elvis Presley.”

He noted that returning ‘home’ to Hawaii as a success was important to him because of how his family struggled there early on. Rock brought up some things like being evicted, his grandfather dying with a struggling wrestling promotion, and getting arrested, among other negatives.
Rock added:
“Now, in hindsight, it was the greatest thing to ever happen because it forced me into this mindset, honestly, for hard work. If I could do anything, I would do everything I could to make sure we never get evicted again.”
