Lee Jenkins of SI.com has a really fun article up today going behind the scenes of the Golden State Warriors night of celebration, after defeating LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers to become the 2015 NBA Champions.

In the piece, it’s noted that while during a lighthearted Tuesday morning film session, footage of Seth Rollins’ most recent Monday Night Raw promo was shown. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion addressed the Ohio crowd this week, trashing the Cavs and boasting his title was the only one the city would see. As it turned out, the champ was right. 

Non-wrestling note – a big congratulations to the Warriors and all the Oakland fans. Steph Curry has got to be the epitome of a ‘tweener’ in Ohio right now, born in the same city as LeBron James, crushing the souls of his hometown fans to win his title. I got on the G.S. bandwagon after my Blazers and Bulls were knocked out, and Curry is just the best kind of magic on the court. My absolute respect goes out to King James, who ruled the playoffs and did things mere mortals can only dream of; ultimately it wasn’t enough, and the best team won it out last night. Awesome season, guys! Let’s do it again soon!
