Goldust WrestleMania Plans Nixed?
Goldust vs Stardust will not be happening at WrestleMania 31 as officials felt the angle wasn’t working. It’s also likely Goldust will not be included in the Intercontinental Title Ladder Match, but rather the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.
Backstage Update on Mysterio & El Patron Lucha Underground Deals
Both Rey Mysterio and Alberto El Patron have deals with Lucha Underground which will see the two former WWE Champions “tied into” the company if the promotion really takes off.
With regards to Lucha Underground’s performance, it could soon become the #2 promotion in the United States soon as far as viewers goes. They’ve been negotiating to be upgraded from the UmiMas channel to Univision. UmiMas airs the Lucha UG show in Spanish and is in 65 million homes, or 55.8% of homes in the US.
