WWE Smackdown Results

Report by Bill Pritchard for Wrestlezone.com
The Miz starts the show with Miz TV, and he welcomes Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns to the ring. Bryan makes his entrance, followed by Reigns, but Reigns turns and drops Miz immediately with a Superman Punch. Bryan nods and and Reigns says Bryan thinks he can walk in and just steal his opportunity, but he fought through 29 other men to get it, and he’ll go through one more. Reigns says there’s no one who will stop him from getting to Wrestlemania, and he’s going to beat Bryan at Fast Lane. He says he sees in Bryan’s eyes that maybe they should do this right here and now, so they both clear the ring and stare each other down.
Seth Rollins cuts them off before anything happens, and he says he doesn’t mean to be a party pooper, but he has a bone to pick with both of them. Rollins says Bryan knows he [Rollins] was going to win, but Reigns screwed everything up by sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong. Rollins says Reigns sucker punched him because he is a coward, and it doesn’t matter who wins at Fast Lane or Wrestlemania, because he is still the future. He holds up his briefcase and says this is his future, but Bryan’s future is in jeopardy tonight, because he’s facing J&J Security… and himself in a match tonight!
BP: If they aren’t using Bryan for the title match at Wrestlemania, this is an excellent way to use him. Reigns has looked like a completely different person the past few weeks, and using Bryan as a foil is a great way to build him up.
Dolph Ziggler & Ryback vs Gold & Stardust
Dolph hits a quick dropkick, then he jabs Stardust a few times before Ryback tags in and scoop slams him. Ryback hits a quick splash for two, then Dolph hits an elbow drop, followed by some theatrics by both and a Ryback splash. Stardust rolls outside for a breather, then we get back from a break to see Goldust taking a few jabs at Ryback. He backs Ryback into the corner and Stardust kicks him, then Ryback takes a few more strikes before making a comeback and getting the tag. Dolph connects with some kicks and a DDT for two, then he attempts a Zig Zag but Stardust hooks the ropes and hits a springboard kick. Goldust calls him “Cody” and reaches for a tag, then Stardust gets angry and chops Goldust, acting as the tag, and stumbles away. Goldust screams for his partner, but Dolph uses the distraction to kick Goldust in the face, and Ryback hits Shell Shocked for the win.
Winners – Dolph Ziggler & Ryback
