According to PWInsider.com, former TNA stars Frankie Kazarian and The Young Bucks were offered deals by AAA for El Rey Network’s Lucha Underground, however they turned the offers down.
Additionally, former WWE talents Ezekiel Jackson, Savannah and Maxine were all offered deals, and they have until today to sign them.
Chavo Guerrero, who has yet to sign an official deal, will be working for Lucha Underground in a backstage role and as a performer.
It’s being said some talents are hesitant to sign deals because of low guaranteed pay, the amount of exclusivity time on the contract and the inability to do other indy work without the permission of Lucha Underground officials.
With regards to pay, some talents have been offered $750 per match, while others, who most would consider top indy names, were only offered $200 per match.
