In the Wake of Kevin Steen Signing, Ricardo Rodriguez Airs Grievances with Triple H
As we reported earlier today, WWE officially announced the signing of top indy name Kevin Steen. In the wake of Steen’s signing, recently released WWE star Ricardo Rodriguez took to Twitter to air some apparent grievances he has with Triple H. Rodriguez posted the following, however both Tweets have been deleted:
“Congrats.. I hope he at least looked at you while shaking hands at one point and did call you fat as f–k. #OhMemories.”
“#BumbleBee was his name for me… Don’t even think he ever knew my real name.”
The BumbleBee Man name is a reference to a “Simpsons” character, who is an over the top Hispanic cartoon character who wears a bumblebee costume and does slapstick comedy.
Last week we reported WWE had not been pleased with Ricardo’s weight, and set weight goals for him that he was having difficulty maintaining. With the announcement coming today that WWE had signed Kevin Steen, who is also a larger wrestler, it’s possible that fueled Ricardo to air some of his grievances with Triple H.
