-The self-proclaimed "realest guys in the room" come out and do their East coast shtick to get things started. They talk about running through the tag team tournament like the Kool-Aid man runs through a brick wall. Also, they're stars, and they take meteor showers.
First Round Tournament Match
Big Cass & Enzo Amore vs. Tye Dillinger & Jason Jordan
Cass beats down on Dillinger, then Jordan when he tags in. Jordan takes him out with a big back suplex and tags in his partner, and Dillinger starts pounding on him with exposed knees. Jordan comes back in and hits a shoulder thrust in the corner, and they continue with the quick tags to keep the big man off his feet. Enzo eventually makes the hot tag, but runs into a huge kick from Dillinger. Jordan comes in and tries for a spear in the corner, but Cass uses his body to block for his partner. Dillinger gets in the face of the referee, Cass hits Jason with a big boot, and Enzo picks up the win.
Winners: Big Cass & Enzo Amore
-Backstage Sami Zayn says his tag team partner is not medically cleared to compete, so he might be on his own tonight. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd interrupt him and make fun of Zayn, saying he doesn't have a partner because he's got no friends in NXT. Adam Rose shows up with the Rosebuds, and tells Sami not to be a lemon, and partner with him tonight in the title tournament.
