TNA Champion Indy Appearance
Pro Wrestling Ponderings is reporting TNA Tag Team Champion Eddie Edwards answered an open challenge last night on Beyond Wrestling’s Americana 2014 card in Providence, Rhode Island.
Edwards answered an open challenge by Biff Busick, who was without an opponent after Michael Bennett (ROH) had dropped out from appearing. Edwards won the match by pinfall, then Bennett ended up attacking Busick after the match and hit him with a piledriver.
Other notable names appearing on the show were former WWE Superstar Curt Hawkins (as Brian Myers), Trent Baretta, Chuck Taylor, Jimmy Jacobs, Tommaso Ciampa, The Young Bucks and current Ring Of Honor World Champion Michael Elgin.

Stars Comment On Impact Cancellation
Former WWE,WCW, and TNA star Kevin Nash, and former wrestler and current WWE employee Billy Kidman commented on the news of Spike TV cancelling Impact Wrestling.
Nash and Kidman commented on their Twitter accounts, with Nash offering sympathy and Kidman asking fans to calm down before they ask about the company closing.
