John Cena comes out and tells people to buy the WWE Network, and talks about Battleground, then Roman Reigns comes out and Cena talks about how Reigns got screwed over by the Authority. Reigns cuts him off and Cena says he’ll get to the point, and they can beat the Authority tonight, and deal with their problems, then fight one on one. Reigns says that’s a good idea, then they egg each other on a bit, and Dean Ambrose cuts them off and tells them to stop. He says they aren’t dancing tonight, they are fighting, and The Authority comes prepared but he has his own plan. He says it starts by kicking some asses, then Kane and Rollins appear behind him so Ambrose starts swinging. Randy Orton runs in and helps beat Ambrose down, and they stomp him several times and whip him into a loading bay door before Rollins throws him into a wall and Kane chokeslams him. Ambrose laughs and asks if that’s all they got, so Rollins climbs onto a crate and Curb Stomps him before they leave.
BP: They beat Ambrose like a government mule. (Sauce It!). Good opener, teasing Cena and Reigns’ eventual match, and Ambrose sold the beating like a champ.
Sheamus vs The Miz
Miz says his face will be shown on the Titantron for the whole match, then Sheamus shoulder tackles him and goes for a clothesline. Miz ducks and bails outside, then Sheamus chases him and connects with some body shots. Miz dumps him outside but Sheamus punches him in the back of the head, then Miz reverses a whip into the barricade and heads up top. Miz connects with a double sledge, then we get back from a break to see Miz DDT Sheamus for a near fall. Miz goes for a Skull Crushing Finale but Sheamus hiptosses him, then he goes for a Brogue Kick but Miz ducks and rolls him up for the win.
Winner – The Miz
Randy Orton, Kane and Seth Rollins brag about what they did to Dean Ambrose, then Kane and Orton argue over trusting each other. Kane says he can take the title from him, or he can have Orton’s back, as long as Orton has his. Triple H walks in and says they will trust each other and get the job done, and he trusts them, so they need to start trusting each other tonight. Stephanie walks in and says he is powerful and she trusts him, then makes out with him.
