Impact's Character Development
Gunner defeated Mr. Anderson to kick off the action on Impact. Anderson slowed the pace, while Gunner tried to fasten the pace and overpower his opponent. Anderson gets caught in the air and Gunner hits a fallaway slam. Gunner heads to the top and James Storm tries to interfere. Storm accidentally hit Anderson and Gunner hits his finisher for the win. It was a pretty good match and James Storm played it off like he does not care. Interesting end to a match with two faces. James Storm is an excellent heel and his feud with Gunner seems to be continuing. I wonder what else they can do, though.

Ethan Carter III Continues His Character
EC3 continues to talk about how good he is. He puts on a wrestling exhibition. EC3 is doing this to taunt Kurt Angle, which was actually comical. I still cannot stand Spud and think he is useless, but Carter gets to showcase his comedy side in an angle that has much more to it, the angle with Kurt. EC3 will ultimately get the rub from Angle. Kurt comes out and mocks Carter.
The angle continues and this was average at best. Carter carried the segment, one that had little intrigue and even less interest from the fans. Angle vs. Carter continues, which I am absolutely okay with. Young vs. Old. Two styles clashing and one guy who desperately needs Angle's help to continue to be an important piece to the future of TNA.

Bobby Roode defeated Gunner
The match felt a little rushed and a little too forced for my liking. Gunner misses an elbow drop and Roode hits a Roode Bomb for the win. I was happy to see a clean win, for once. Roode is the right choice, as Eric Young would be completely overmatched by Gunner. Since the fans love Gunner, that would have been a dangerous choice. I am all about Roode continuing to get championship matches. He needs to move on from Bully Ray, and vice versa. God, I wish TNA gave these two guys 15-20 minutes of physical wrestling. Instead, they rushed the segment and really missed the chance of an excellent match.

-Dixie Carter brings out security and a table with her name on it. She says she is not scared of Bully Ray and says he should be afraid of her. Bully Ray comes out and says he does not fear her. Bully Ray tries to tell the security guards that they want him to put her through a table.
They all leave and Bully Ray heads to the ring with only three more security guards left. Ray gets in the ring and security holds him down. He fights them off and is face to face with her. He tries to put her through a table, but MVP comes out. He tells Bully Ray to leave her alone. He tells Dixie to get out of his ring. That ends the segment.
So, the crowd wants it and MVP saves Dixie Carter. Makes sense to me, right? MVP is slowly turning heel, I can feel it. He will end up sticking next to Dixie. That is how TNA books their bosses and on-screen power.
