Title This: WWE Smackdown Reaction “The Shield as Faces Will Work, For Now”

The Undercard

wwe smackdown reactionFernando defeated Fandango

Fandango picks up the early offense until Fernando hits a few spinning elbows. He hits him with a hurricanranna and a flying elbow. Summer Rae distracts him and Fandango hits a big clothesline. El Torito is on the outside and he is running towards her since she is wearing a red dress. Fandango saves Summer Rae, but Fernando rolls him up for the win.

Reaction: Why was this match the first one on Smackdown? Second, why are these guys paired up together? Why wasn't Los Matadores involved in a tag team? They have done NOTHING to establish themselves as ANYTHING in WWE. I am not saying they aren't talented, but this made no sense to me whatsoever.

Score: 3/10

Dolph Ziggler defeated Damien Sandow in a really fun match to watch. The change of offense happened when Sandow shoved Ziggler to the outside, but he hit his head on the mat. Ziggler is able to fight his way back into the ring. Sandow quickly attacks him with kicks and knees to the neck. Sandow continues the attack by tossing Ziggler to the outside. Ziggler finally gets the upper hand by hitting a dropkick and both men are down. Ziggler reverses a move and hits a Fameasser for the win.

Reaction: The match was very solid, but nothing amazing happened. It looked like both guys put themselves into auto-pilot. I am not saying the match was bad whatsoever. Quite the contrary, as Ziggler picks up another win. He continues to roll and WWE continues to have absolutely no idea what to do with Damien Sandow. Both men are involved in the battle royal, so this was a good pairing and a solid bout on Smackdown.

Score: 6/10

The Bellas defeated Summer Rae and Natalya.

A little Total divas action on Smackdown ends when Brie hits an X-Factor onto Natayla for the win. Summer Rae and Nattie being a bad pairing was the biggest part of this match. Say what you want, but these Divas are more important than AJ Lee. That is a shame

Score: 4.5/10
