I attended the Kalamazoo, MI live event tonight. Tony Chimel informed the crowed that Daniel Bryan would not be there due to injury and offered the crowd a refund if they went to the box office before end of second match. First match was kofi vs the Miz. Too much play to the crowd, both fan favorites but they spent more time trying to get the crowd into the event the. Really needed. Slow start but overall a good match. Not too bad but not too good. The Miz has seen better days, and kofi, please connect on your moves if your going to try to sell them.
2nd match was Bray Wyatt coming to the ring in for an open challenge to anyone in the back for a cage match. Out comes the big show. Bray wanted nothing to do with show, finally tries to go toe to toe and numerous times tries to escape the cage. A lot of dull moves for both, show was out there for a good time, not to concerned with going over the cage or for the pin. Any wrestlezone fan could easily depict how this match was going to turn out. Bray tries to escape over the top yet again, show stops him, bray trips on top rope and show ends up riding the top rope, bray crawls out of cage door, crawls super fast at first then realizes show hasn't started to craw yet and slows down to snail speed, but eventually crawls out for the win.
3rd match is Natalya vs aj lee for diva championship until an gets on the mic and says vickie Guerrero says it's no longer a championship defense. Natalya goes on for a squash match. Not much to say here. On way to the back nattie dedicates victory to the late great mae young.
4 match is some guy from nxt who loves to take selfies of himself versus justin Gabriel, highly acrobatic match, loser = justin Gabriel, whatever happen to this dude, I mean high flyer of nexus, now a days can't even beat a fandango wannabe?
Next Damien sandow vs big e Langston for ic championship, great match crowd was really into it.
Next match is r truth vs fandango, fan vote match for dance off or match, crowd voted for match, highly athletic. Winner r truth.
Next Tyson Kidd vs bad news Barrett, again yet another nexus guy, what happened to him. Still wins match but what the heck.
Cm punk vs shield. Huge reaction for punk, and reigns, Ambrose and Rollins get booed out the building. Pretty much the same match you have read about for the last month or so on wrestlezone.com except reigns didn't spear Ambrose, but he did spear the "steel" steps which some how made him take a nap on the floor for 15 mins of the match. Cm punk does quick finish to send the crowd home happy, on the wait out from the venue they are handing out flyers for Mick Foley to be at wings stadium in Kalamazoo MI for a hockey game to do autographs.
