The "American Wolf" Davey Richards just finished up a recent tour for Preston City Wrestling in the United Kingdom, and cut an interesting promo, saying 'goodbye' to the fans:
"I don't really need to go on about the rumors about me and Eddie – where we're headed – for legal reasons. But if this is my last time here, my last time on this tour, in this ring, last time in front of you guys, you guys have no idea how you've saved my life … I promise you this: no matter where I go, no matter where Eddie goes, no matter what company we work for, I will never lose track of what's important in this business. And that is hard work and earning the fans respect through being a great wrestler; I will never lose sight of that. I can't speak exactly where I'm going. I can't speak exactly what's going to unfold in the next couple months, but I promise all of you this, there's going to be some fireworks."
Davey and his long-time tag team partner, Eddie Edwards, recently had WWE try-outs at the developmental center in Orlando, FL but at this time there has still been no update on their status with the company.
