ESPN analyst Jon Gruden appeared on last night's episode of Monday Night Raw, as the former Tampa Bay Buccaneer's head coach was spotted spending time with his family. Hall of Famer Jerry "the King" Lawler announced Gruden to the live crowd.
His appearance was also noted by US Today:
"Rather than stay at home watching a handful of future NFL prospects play in the BCS National Championship game between Alabama and Notre Dame, the "Monday Night Football" analyst and NFL head coaching candidate headed down to the Tampa Bay Times Forum to check out The Rock, John Cena and a bunch of other pro wrestlers at "WWE Raw" Monday night.Given the lopsided result of the title game, there was more compelling drama ringside anyway."
