TNA House Show Results (6/23): Columbus, Ohio

Bryan Clark sent along the following TNA live event report …

There were 7 matches on the card. We got the $50 tickets that included the preshow meet and greet around the ring that started around 6.

A list of who all came out to sign and take pictures: Devon, Alex Shelley, Robbie E, Cookie, Crimson, Max and Jeremy Buck, The Pope (he didnt sign a large amount like the others)

Before the show started, we were all brought into the lobby just outside the arena where Don West (who does an amazing job at the live events) went over everything before the meet and greet started. There were 120 Brown Bag Specials available. The shirt was the new Impact Wrestling shirt. The DVDs (in our bag) were TNA’s 50 greatest moments, the Best of the X-Division parts 1 and 2 and Genesis 2007.

Also before the show, Mickie James was taking pictures with your group for $10. My brother and I couldnt pass that up so we got in the line that turned out to be very long.

There were 34 backstage passes available for $50 during intermission that sold out within minutes of Don making the announcement.

During intermission, Madison Rayne was signing autographs at the merchandise table. At the other end of the table was Earl and Brian Hebner signing Earl’s “Your Damn Right I Did” shirt for $10. I got Madison to sign our program but passed on Hebner.

X Division 4 Way Match (Max Buck vs Robbie E vs Jeremy Buck vs Alex Shelley) WINNER – Alex Shelley

Knockouts Championship Match (Mickie James vs Madison Rayne) WINNER – Mickie James

Tag Team Championship Match (Beer Money vs The Pope and Devon) WINNERS – Beer Money

X-Division Championship Match (Abyss vs Kazarian) WINNER – Abyss

Bound for Glory Series Match (Crimson vs Gunner) WINNER – Crimson

Non Title (Mr Anderson vs Kurt Angle) WINNER – Kurt Angle

After the show was over, Kurt Angle took pictures in the ring for $20 and Jeff Jarrett was signing autographs at the merchandise table.

The line for Angle was so long after the match ended that we decided to go and get Jeff Jarrett to sign our program.

I have been to both WWE and TNA house shows and without question TNA puts on a much better show making it fan friendly with all they do before and after. If you have not been to a show you really need to see one.
