WSU, the company that has hosted more womens wrestling shows than any other company in America in 2008, returns with our last show of the year on 11/29 in New Brunswick, NJ. In order to give back to our fans during Thanksgiving time, as we here in WSU are thankful to our loyal fans, this show will be “Fan Appreciation Night” with all tickets only $5 each!
Several huge matches have been announced for this event!
In a FIRST TIME ever match, one of America’s best takes on one of the best wrestlers from Canada, as “The Latina Sensation” Mercedes Martinez does battle with Portia Perez! This is a huge match-up, and WSU wants to provide the best match possible. Therefore, there will be no time-limit & there must be a winner!
This is the first time Martinez & Portia are squaring off against each other, despite both wrestlers wrestling all over the world for a number of years. WSU is excited and proud to put on this dream match for the loyal WSU fans and for all fans of womens wrestling.
Martinez & Portia are considered two of WSU’s best in-ring wrestlers. We will find out who the best woman is between the two on 11/29, as both wrestlers are eager to test their skills & will against each other.
In recent times both Mercedes & Portia have tried to wrest the WSU Championship from WSU Champion Angel Orsini, only to be denied by the champions brains & brawn. Both Martinez & Perez want to become WSU Champion. In fact, Martinez will take on Orsini in a STEEL CAGE match on 1/10. However, Perez could play a real spoiler and make a claim that she deserves to be number 1 contender with a win here.This promises to be an exciting match for true womens wrestling fans.

In a WSU Tag Team Title Match, the newly crowned champions, The Beatdown Betties (Roxxie Cotton & Annie Social) will do battle with the team that helped put the WSU Tag Division on the map – The Soul Sisters of Jana & Latasha.
While the Soul Sisters were defeated in the first round of the WSU Tag Team tournament, WSU has decided to give the Soul Sisters a crack at the championships based on their longeavity in WSU. The Soul Sisters have been with WSU
from day one, even winning the first ever tag team match in WSU, when they defeated Kylie Pierce & Cha-Cha on 3/3/07.
The Soul Sisters have had some rough times lately and while they haven’t looked on the same page in recent times, both Jana & Latasha have made it clear that they are united as a team from this point forth, in their quest
to become WSU Tag Team champions. The Soul Sisters, the first ever tag team in WSU, are a reason why the WSU Tag Team Championships were created. Now it is their chance to be on top of the WSU Tag Team Scene and prove their skill.
While The Beatdown Betties somehow won the WSU Tag Team Tournament, which was a surprise to all, it seems that without Rick Cataldo in their corner, the Betties are more focused. Social, who sported an 0-7 record when associated with Cataldo, is currently on a 3 match win streak. Even the annoying Roxxie Cotton has seemed to gain some steam without Cataldo in their corner. One must wonder how the recently fired Cataldo must feel to see his team mates doing well without him. Jeremy Shockey syndrome anyone?

TNA Knockout Traci Brooks returns to WSU after winning the right to wrestle for the WSU Championship nearly 18 months ago. Right now, WSU Womens Champion Angel Orsini is scheduled overseas, but if Orsini can be there, as WSU can’t 100% guarantee Orsini right now, we will have a WSU Championship match between Brooks & Orsini. However, with Brooks in the house, there will be many hungry WSU stars looking to make a name off one of TV’s hottest stars. Brooks has told WSUWrestling.com that she eagerly awaits the competition and has been studying WSU DVDs to learn all the ins & outs of the great talent in WSU. Either way, 100%, you will see Traci Brooks in action!

In a WSU Rookie Challenge Match, Lea Morrison will do battle with Miss April, who will have the lovely Gorgeous George in her corner! This promises to be a fun one, as both wrestlers look to get their first singles win in WSU. Miss April was very impressive in the WSU Tag Team Tournament, while Lea Morrison was betrayed by Little Jeanne. A win would help either wrestler move up in the WSU rankings, and that is what it is all about.

Two more key developments have taken place for 11/29, as WSU keeps getting cryptic phone messages, warning WSU of a new debuting wrestling on 1/10. Will this wrestler have her wrath felt on 11/29? We’ve also gotten word that the recently let go Rick Cataldo has purchased a ticket for the 11/29 event. While Cataldo is banned from WSU rings, he is not banned from attending events. Let’s just hope he keeps his seat in his seat!
