Dave Meltzer is reporting that Ring of Honor’s plans for their new television program with HDNet will be to tape three one-hour episodes per taping. As we previously reported, ROH will be taping on February 28 and March 1 at the New Alhambra Arena in Philadelphia, PA, meaning six weeks worth of episodes will be ready shortly thereafter for broadcast. HDNet is currently available in 13% of homes in the United States, and according to Meltzer, ROH is hoping the cult-like fan base ROH has will encourage fans who do not presently have access to HDNet to make requests of their local providers to pick up the network, which could also potentially increase its audience to wrestling fans who are not currently following ROH. Meltzer also believes the original broadcast will be shown on Saturday nights at 9:00 PM ET, followed by replays at midnight, and then again on Sundays.
Kin Folk Wrestling will be at the National Guard Armory in Pigeon Forge, TN, tonight.
