Jim Cornette comes out and says that the fans deserve the same quality matches no matter if it an HDNET tv taping or not! The fans deserve a high quality wrestling show, and as long as he is in charge the fans will get what they deserve. The Best!
1. Kevin Steen vs. Roderick Strong
This match was pretty interesting going into it the show. We have Mr. Wrestling vs. Mr. Backbreaker. Both of these men seem to be buying to maybe try and take on Austin Aries in the near future for the ROH Title, and this match would sort of give us a better idea of him has a better shot at moving up? This match had many big hitting moments with both Steen and Strong showing off their talent in the ring. Both of these men seemed on the verge of winning with each landing a few solid maneuvers on one another. It would come down to who would land that final blow and Steen would deliver the Package Piledriver to Strong. Steen goes for the cover, but out of nowhere Strong hooks Steen’s arms and rolls him over into a cradle and gets the victory. This match could have gone either way, but Strong has been on a powerful run as of late. Great match and with this win I believe it to be just a matter of time till Strong gets a title shot against A Double or whoever may be the present champion at that time?
2. Shimmer Match:
MsChif (c) vs. Nicole Matthews
This match would not get that much fan participation at all, and I would call it a "so-so" match. I have seen better from MsChif, but there is only some much you can expect to do if the crowd is not even behind you in the match. " The match would see many close pin falls, but the win would go to MsChif after she lands the Desecrator on Matthews. At this time Austin Aries would be asked to come out and choose his next opponent from the A Double L Double "Lucky Lottery" After coming out building himself as the "man" of ROH. He pulled out his hat, and pulled out the name of the lucky challenger. He would stare at the name and he tried his best to sell the opponent as local favorite that has never gotten a shot at the ROH Championship. Then with the smirk that he does he announces the wrestler to be none other than Daizee Haze, herself. You could tell everyone was expecting it to be announced as Delirious, but not Haze. Aries calls her out, and she willingly comes out and brings Delirious with her. Daze states at why doesn’t he just give the title shot to the man who deserves it? Aries then says well the hat has made the choice, and it is now Haze’s opportunity. Out of nowhere Cornette comes out of the crowd and sneaks up in the ring and right behind Aries. He asks for the mic and says that he is getting tired of wrestlers taking the easy way out of matches. He no longer wants to see this from any company, and demands to give the people the match they want to see. The home town hero Delirious vs. Austin Aries for the ROH Title. Delirious talks like he does, and says that tonight he will become the new ROH Champion.
