Ric Flair recently did an interview on the Busted Open radio show on Sirius, and when asked how Vince reacted when Flair told him he wanted to return to the ring Flair said the following: "I told Vince McMahon about three months ago that I wanted to back and work and that I’d just work overseas. He said, ‘You know, go for it.’ I’m in good health. I like to sign autographs and I’m really enjoying (non-wrestling projects), but there’s nothing like wrestling. I’ve been working out really hard and I’m looking forward to it. It gives Hulk (Hogan) and I a chance to see if we’ve still got it going on."
On the subject of Flair possibly hosting an upcoming edition of Raw, Flair said, "That may still happen. My schedule hasn’t allowed it to happen. I work with Coca-Cole, Krogers, Wal-Mart, and Sam’s Club. The lottery thing has been huge to me. I can’t give enough credit to the North Carolina education lottery for giving me the opportunity to work for them. It’s been great."
