FCW Live Event Report – 03/04/2010
FCW Arena – Tampa, Florida
Titus O’Neill pinned Adam Atherton
Joe Hennig pinned Joe Doering
Curt Hawkins & Jackson Andrews came to the ring and cut a promo about how they are going to dominate FCW and party all night long. The Dudebusters (Caylen Croft & Trent Baretta) came to the ring to confront Hawkins for turning on them. Some pretty funny mic work from Baretta & Croft… like Baretta asking Hawkins to give his electric pants back. Baretta then volunteered Croft (who was very reluctant) to wrestle the 7’2” Andrews later in the show.
Donny Marlow (with Sarona Snuka) pinned Big E. Langston
Richie Steamboat pinned Derrick Bateman
Jackson Andrews pinned Caylen Croft
Following the match, Trent Baretta challenged Curt Hawkins to a match next Thursday.
6 Diva Tag Match – A.J. Lee, Courtney Taylor, & Aksana defeated Naomi Night, Rosa Mendes, & Liviana when Taylor pinned Mendes
Bo & Duke Rotundo cut a promo about how determined they are to win the FCW Tag Team Titles back and how with or without the belts they are the team to beat in FCW. This brought out Donny Marlow, Jimmy & Jules Uso, and the newest members of their entourage… G-Rilla & Sarona Snuka. Some strong mic work from all parties as the Uso’s reminded the audience that they took out the Rotundo’s with a double Samoan spike a few weeks ago and how they deserve to be the tag champs of “the F-C-Dub”. G-Rilla ended every paragraph spoken by Marlow & The Uso’s with single word comments like “Preach” “Message”, etc. This faction has some strong potential. I’m looking forward to seeing how they’ll be used.
Heath Slater pinned Skip Sheffield
Kaval & Justin Gabriel defeated Wade Barrett & Alex Riley when Kaval Pinned Riley. There was a lot of conflict throughout the match between Barrett and Riley (with some in ring banter). The match ended after Barrett left the ring leaving Riley alone to be finished off. Riley persistently called Gabriel & Kaval “nerds” during the match.
