Just to back you up on your report about Booker T filling in for Styles against RVD – it’s true. I was there with my dad for the house show in the Lake Charles Civic Center (Fri., May 21) – and was shocked when none other than Booker T stepped through the (small) curtain. Earlier in the night, Borash told the crowd that Styles’ "plane had been detoured to Houston" – but that he would have word later in the show. I figured it was hogwash, having seen this type of thing in years past at Mid-South Shows – "We’ve just been informed Bill Watts’ (or Dusty Rhodes’, etc.) plane has been delayed, etc." So imagine my shock when Booker T appeared, and, yes, he cut a heel promo telling us he cared nothing about TNA or its fans, and of his plans to win the TNA Title that night and drag it behind his car, making sparks all the way back to Houston! (A nice visual, you have to admit!) Just thought I’d pass that along.
