The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE’s DVD sales for its WrestleMania 26 PPV have been low compared to recent years. After its first two weeks in stores, the DVD set has sold 24,810 units. By comparison, WrestleMania XXV sold 106,427 units within its first two weeks, while previous years were in the 150,000 to 200,000 range.
As we previously reported, Ric Flair has been running through the dates he has on his current TNA deal quite quickly. As a result, TNA is in a position right now where they’ll either have to sign him to a new deal or keep him off TV until his current deal expires. The Wrestling Observer is now reporting that because TNA has expressed interest in bringing Reid Flair into the company, that it might be easier to get Ric to sign a new deal as he will want to stick around in the same company his son is in.
