Maki Itoh was expecting a bit more from Waffle House.
Itoh was in Denver this weekend for a match with Abadon at Lucha Libre Laugh. It appears she got a bite to eat after the show and picked a solid place in Waffle House.
Waffle House is a Georgia-based breakfast chain known for serving “good food fast.” In recent months, they have also been known for late-night brawls between customers (and sometimes, employees). Maki was hoping to see a fight break out while she dined. However, it sounds like the only thing that ended up scattered, smothered and covered was her food.
“I went to Waffle House for the first time to see a fight but nothing happened ??,” Maki Itoh wrote on Twitter/X.
Most of the comments were people telling her she just went to the wrong one. This includes Royce Isaacs, who promised his hometown is just as violent as the Waffle House brawls you have seen on the news.
“Smh my hometown too peaceful,” Isaacs wrote on Twitter/X. “Denver embarrassing me once again, I promise we are ignorant and violent too.”
“I fucking love you ? try again next time! The one time I went, i saw one, so keep the dream alive,” VertVixen added.
It doesn’t work like that? Yah gotta find the a Waffle House on the east coast, preferably near a city with high ratio of clubs.

Other commenters told her where she should go, leaning towards a preference for the east coast. One fan said if she didn’t see a fight, it’s up to Maki Itoh to start a fight.
