WCW was one of the biggest competitors to WWE. Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff revealed what his least favorite Pay-per-view theme was in WCW.
During a recent episode of the 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff ran down the list of pay-per-view themes that he hated the most. The WWE Hall of Famer named the pay-per-views, such as Uncensored. But the pay-per-view that topped the list was World War 3. Bischoff also claimed that the Uncensored pay-per-view, although it receives a little bad rap, had the potential to be one of the most successful pay-per-views.
“It was World War 3 by a mile. I think Uncensored gets a little bit of a bad rap, but if you go back and you look at some of the economics surrounding it, you know that, the first one and even the second one? I think the idea and the concept, loud as it was from the get-go, it was the first one. It was a completely different approach to pay-per-views. But that’s exactly what I wanted! I didn’t want a pay-per-view that looked kinda like the rest of the pay-per-views! I think Uncensored could’ve been one of our more successful pay-per-views,” Eric Bischoff said. [H/T Wrestling INC.]
