Victoria Crawford Highlights One Of Her Objectives In Joining TNA

Victoria Crawford, formerly known as Alicia Fox, expresses happiness in the TNA locker room.

After spending 17 years with WWE, Victoria Crawford parted ways with the company in 2023. She spent a year competing on the independent scene before making a surprise appearance at TNA Unbreakable last month, where she confronted TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich from the crowd. TNA recently appointed her as the new Deputy Director of Authority, where she now appears alongside NXT’s Robert Stone.

In a recent interview with Gabby AF, Crawford shared her positive experience being part of the TNA locker room.

“I definitely am happy. That’s the bottom line. This is the first time I’ve gone to another wrestling company that has goals of achieving expansion. I try not to compare apples and oranges between locker room cultures, but when it comes to; is the talent happy? Are my friends happy? Do they communicate well with each other? I think that’s the one objective I took with me going. Everyone is really happy. It’s totally night and day. I don’t know if it’s because of the schedule or the energy. I’m trying to marinate in it because I do know it’s the first time in a different environment.

“I’m so used to WWE. That’s a family, too, I definitely want to say that. There is something about the excitement of when things are about to get rolling that I think is shared amongst us all. I was also there in WWE when things were just getting started before FCW was built, we were doing it in a warehouse at live events. The company wasn’t public. It had that same feel of the company is maturing and we’re all nurturing it to that point. We are a nature and the business doesn’t have a nature, it has a culture. That is one thing I’m happy to have experienced to bring to TNA, that way we don’t take these professional blows or lack of championships or the time it takes to get there personally, so we can keep strong for our home life. I’m real passionate about that.” [H/T: Fightful]

Crawford made her TNA in-ring debut at the company’s recent TV tapings in Irvine, California. She will now make her TNA in-ring debut at Under Siege, where she challenges Slamovich for the TNA Knockouts World Championship.
